Oppimiskokonaisuus

”Robot game”

Short description about the project

The goal was to answer the question ‘what is electricity and how can it be made visible’. We familiarized ourselves with the goals of the Agenda 2030 and, based on that, the forms of electricity production.

Age group

4.-6.

Instructions

The children made idea papers about electricity, based on the things they remembered and prior information. After this, we started thinking about what the children wanted to do and how. The final solution was to make a board game. After this, the children implemented the game, using recycled material and exploring different craft materials. The children also designed the rules, task cards and a background story for the game. The tasks were divided according to the children’s skills and interests.
